Ability Now is pleased to announce that Bread & Roses Presents will have various musicians perform for our participants at Ability Now. Bread & Roses Presents is a nonprofit arts organization with a human services mission that brings hope, healing and joy through live music and the performing arts to people who are disadvantaged, marginalized, or otherwise isolated in diverse institutional settings in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The first performer will be Manny Bernal on Thursday, April 12th at 11:00. Manny is a Bay Area-based songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. He merges musical styles from Modern Folk Rock to Americana and has been a Bread & Roses volunteer since 2011.
Ability Now was referred to the organization by Bread & Roses Presents Board member and musician extraordinaire, Matt Jaffe. Some of you may remember that Matt played an impromptu set of songs during Christmas time for our participants.
We are so grateful for the support from Bread & Roses Presents, and we have to give a great big shout out and thank you to Matt and Manny!
