Ability Now’s annual Valentine’s Day party brought in a new court and some special guests who came to help make Valentine’s Day cards. Ability Now crowns a new king and queen every Valentine’s Day, as well as a new prince and princess. The “Court” is voted on anonymously by the participants at Ability Now. For the third year in a row, Oscar Matias was crowned the Valentine’s Day king.
Ability Now participants also had some help making Valentine’s Day cards from some very special people – Ability Now donors and Board members. With colorful paper, glitter, sequins, feathers, and lots of glue, our guests created beautiful hand-made cards with some of our participants. As can be seen by all the smiles, everyone had a fun and creative time.
