Participants and staff at Ability Now welcomed Bread & Roses Producer, Francesca Lee, as she performed a mix of original songs and covers. Francesca graciously stepped in to perform when the scheduled musician canceled due to illness, even though she wasn’t feeling well herself.
Bread & Roses Presents is a nonprofit arts organization with a human services mission that brings hope, healing and joy through live music and the performing arts to people who are disadvantaged, marginalized, or otherwise isolated in diverse institutional settings in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Francesca’s performance was the second of six different musicians Bread & Roses plans on bringing throughout the year to perform for Ability Now participants. We are so grateful to Bread & Roses for bringing talented musicians to Ability Now, especially Francesca, who stepped in to sing so our participants wouldn’t be disappointed. Thanks Francesca, you’re a real trooper!
