Computer Literacy

Participants receive instruction in the use of computers, Microsoft Office, the internet, email and adaptive hardware and software. They study how to use the computer for educational learning, personal use, increasing communication, alphanumeric literacy, computer art or distance learning. Assistive technology and adaptive hardware and software are used to modify computers to increase access for participants with physical disabilities.

  • How to access computer programs such as: Show Me Spelling, ELSB program, Simon SIO, etc.
  • Save
  • Print
  • Create individual folders
  • Access the internet and email
  • Independently work on objectives
