Erin joins Ability Now Bay Area with a robust 20-year tenure in the nonprofit sector, utilizing a strong background in fiscal strategy, program management, and fundraising.
Erin’s journey included a significant twelve-year tenure at the Unity Council, serving in key roles as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and ultimately President.
Erin believes in the power of diversity and inclusion to foster a vibrant and joyful workplace. She believes that by amplifying the voices of participants and placing equity, diversity, and inclusion at the center of her work, better outcomes can be achieved for all stakeholders.
Erin’s own experience with disability, her friends and family with disabilities, and her work directly with affordable housing residents with disabilities are among the many reasons she finds herself drawn to the work of Ability Now. She’s thrilled to bring both her lived and work experience to lead the organization in its continuing mission to empower individuals with disabilities and strengthen the rich and diverse community of adults with disabilities in the Bay Area.
