De’Shane Johnson

ADC Program & Curriculum Supervisor

De’Shane joined Ability Now Bay Area in March 2022 as the ADC Program and Curriculum Manager. De’Shane is responsible for the detailed planning and implementation of the Adult Development Center at ANBA. His job involves directing the activities of the Instructors, Assistant Instructors, and Classroom Aides. He also works in collaboration with the Executive Team, Wellness Director, and HR Director to ensure organizational compliance.

Previously, De’Shane served as Manager of Operation for 6 years in merchant services prior to working in the Social Services field as a Case Manager for a Community Based Residential Treatment Facility.

In his free time, De’Shane pursues his passions of acting, playwriting, songwriting, and recording, and is a member of the Community Media Center of Marin. In addition to hosting his growing podcast, He does voluntary videography and photography with Desire to Inspire Studio Foundation in Marin.

De’Shane has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Paine College in Augusta, Ga.
